HGV Class 2 ADR Driver – Teesside
£17.70 per hour | £26.55 overtime
Driver Hire Teesside are recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 ADR Driver for an excellent opportunity based in Teesside.
This is a full-time driving role working for a well-established national operation, delivering an essential service to customers across the region.
We are looking for a professional, safety-conscious driver with previous ADR experience who is comfortable working in a customer-facing environment.
The role:
- Carrying out Class 2 ADR deliveries across the region
- Completing daily vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
- Operating in accordance with ADR requirements and company safety procedures
- Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time
- Providing a professional service when dealing with customers
- Complying fully with tachograph, drivers’ hours and Working Time regulations
Safety is a major part of this role, so we are particularly interested in drivers who take pride in working professionally and following procedures correctly.
To be considered, you must have:
- A valid Category C / Class 2 licence
- A valid Driver CPC
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- A current ADR Vocational Training Certificate
- Appropriate ADR entitlement for the work
- Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and tachograph legislation
- Previous professional HGV driving experience
- A strong approach to health and safety
- Good communication and customer-service skills
Previous ADR driving experience is highly desirable.
Pay
Basic rate: £17.70 per hour
Overtime: £26.55 per hour
There is also the opportunity to increase earnings further through overtime.
