We are looking for experienced and reliable Class 2 HGV Drivers to join our growing team at Driver Hire Chester and North Wales, providing services for our clients throughout the region, curtain side, flat bed, recycling, variety of different roles
The Role
As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of goods to customers across North Wales, Cheshire and surrounding areas.
Duties will include:
- Driving a Class 2 HGV safely and responsibly
- Carrying out vehicle checks before and after shifts
- Completing delivery paperwork and using electronic POD systems
- Providing excellent customer service
- Ensuring all loads are secured correctly
- Complying with drivers’ hours, tachograph and company procedures
Requirements
- Full Category C (Class 2) licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred
- Good knowledge of the local area advantageous
- Reliable, professional and safety-conscious attitude
- Good communication and customer service skills
What We Offer
- Rates £14.65ph or £16.42adv
- Flexible Hours -both full time and parttime
