Scunthorpe Area
Driver Hire Grimsby & Scunthorpe requires an experienced Class 1 (Category CE) Driver for one of our established industrial customers in the Scunthorpe area.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 1 driver looking for regular work and the possibility of securing long-term work.
The Role
Duties will include:
- Class 1 driving on behalf of a major industrial business
- Delivering and collecting equipment and materials
- Local and regional deliveries
- Ensuring loads are transported safely and securely
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Completing relevant delivery and transport paperwork
- Representing our customer professionally at delivery and collection points
What We’re Looking For
Applicants should have:
- Valid Class 1 (Category CE) licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 1 driving experience
- Good knowledge of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Regulations
- A professional and safety-conscious approach
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliability and a flexible approach to work
Previous experience within industrial, construction or similar transport environments would be particularly useful.
