We’re looking for an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver to work from a busy depot in Blackburn, carrying out brewery deliveries.
This role would suit someone looking for steady work in a professional transport environment.
The Role
- Drive a Class 1 C+E vehicle
- Complete brewery deliveries
- Load and unload goods
- Check and secure loads
- Carry out daily vehicle checks
- Complete delivery paperwork
- Follow company procedures and road safety regulations
- Work safely at the depot and delivery locations
What You Need
- Valid Class 1 / C+E licence
- Previous Class 1 experience
- Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and tachograph rules
- Reliable and punctual
- Good communication skills
- Comfortable working in a busy depot
Licence Requirements
Drivers must have:
- No more than 6 points
- No DR endorsements
- No IN endorsements
- No DD endorsements
A licence check will be carried out as part of the recruitment process.
