🚛 HGV Class 1 Drivers – Flexible Driving Opportunities

💷 £15.50–£17.37 per hour

Driver Hire Edinburgh West are currently looking for experienced HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers to cover a variety of assignments across West Lothian.
Whether you’re looking to pick up extra shifts, boost your income or work around other commitments, we have a range of driving opportunities available with different clients, routes and shift patterns.
Full-time hours may occasionally become available, but cannot be guaranteed.

📦 Types of Assignments
Depending on the client and available work, assignments may include:
- Trunking
- Single-drop and multi-drop deliveries
- General haulage and pallet network work
- A-to-B vehicle movements
- Loading and unloading where required
- Completing daily vehicle checks and paperwork
- Working in line with drivers’ hours, transport legislation and health & safety requirements
✅ What You’ll Need
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 1 year’s Class 1 driving experience – essential
- Maximum 6 penalty points – minor offences only
- No IN, DD, DR or CD endorsements
- Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and transport regulations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work
💷 Pay Rates
PAYE Basic: £15.50 per hour + holiday pay accrued
PAYE Advanced: £17.37 per hour
