Driver Hire Chester and North Wales are currently looking to recruit a Class 1 Driver with HIAB driver for our client based in Ruthin to work Monday to Friday with a approx a 7am Start, typically 10/12 hr days this is a Temp to Perm position
The role involves:
- Conducting daily checks on vehicles to maintain road worthiness and comply with company and legal standards
- Ensuring tachograph records are compliant in line with WTD and drivers hours regulations
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness inside and outside of cab, reporting defects and incidents promptly
- Delivering a high level of customer service to our customers, maintaining and enhancing the company reputation
- Attending training courses as required
- Delivering and collecting approx. 20ft containers within a 100 mile radius of Base
You will need:
- HGV 1 (Class 1) driving licence
- Current drivers CPC
- HIAB Certificate in Date-experience essential
- Valid digital tacho card
- Flexible approach and excellent communication skills
Rate of Pay:
- PAYE £17.00ph or adv £19.05ph
