Class 1 HGV Driver
Driver Hire Peterborough are currently recruiting Class 1 (Cat C+E) Drivers on behalf of a large and well-established local transport operator.
This role involves operating double-deck refrigerated trailers, completing deliveries and collections to major supermarket RDCs. We have day and night shifts available, including weekend work, with a variety of start times to suit different schedules.

The Role
- Completing Class 1 deliveries and collections
- Operating double-deck refrigerated trailers
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, professionally, and on time
- Following all WTD and Drivers’ Hours regulations
- Maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph card
- Good communication and timekeeping skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
