Driver Hire Nottingham is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to work with one of our valued clients on their Amazon contract, based in Hucknall.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Class 1 drivers looking for regular Monday-to-Friday work during the busy Christmas peak period, with consistent shifts and daily overtime opportunities.
The Role
- General Class 1 trunking work on an Amazon contract.
- Monday to Friday shifts.
- Based in Hucknall.
- Regular work throughout the Christmas peak period.
- Minimal manual handling involved.
- Daily overtime opportunities.
- Start date – ASAP
Pay Rates
- £18.75 per hour assignment rate.
- £28.12 per hour overtime rate after 8 hours worked daily.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
- Have a minimum of 12 months’ Class 1 driving experience.
- Hold an in-date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Be able to successfully complete a DBS check.
- Be willing and able to undertake the client’s random drug and alcohol testing.
- Demonstrate a reliable, safe and professional approach to driving.
