7.5T Driver | Flatbed Vehicle | Plastic Piping Deliveries | Approx. 6 Drops | Day Work
We’re looking for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join a well-established industrial supplies business, delivering plastic underground piping and related products to customers.
This is a day work driving role using a flatbed vehicle, with around 6 drops per day. The job would suit a driver who enjoys being out on the road, is confident securing loads and takes pride in completing deliveries safely and professionally.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your typical day will involve:
- Driving a 7.5 tonne flatbed vehicle
- Delivering plastic underground piping and industrial products
- Completing approximately 6 deliveries per day
- Loading and unloading goods safely
- Securing loads correctly using straps
- Checking loads before leaving site
- Delivering to customers, businesses and various delivery locations
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Completing delivery paperwork when required
- Providing a professional service to customers
- Following all relevant road safety and transport regulations
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a reliable and experienced 7.5T Driver who is comfortable working with a flatbed vehicle and understands the importance of safe load security.
You’ll need:
- A valid 7.5 Tonne / Category C1 licence
- Previous 7.5T driving experience
- Experience with flatbed vehicles would be beneficial
- Good understanding of load security and strapping
- A reliable and professional approach to work
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work independently
- Good knowledge of UK roads
Experience delivering building materials, piping, plastics or industrial products would be an advantage.
Driving Licence Requirements
Strict licence criteria apply to this position.
All drivers must:
- Have no more than 6 penalty points
- Have no DR endorsements
- Have no IN endorsements
- Have no DD endorsements
Driving licences will be checked as part of the recruitment process.
