Driver Hire (Torbay), the UK’s largest specialist transport and logistics recruitment company, is seeking ad-hoc van drivers in South Devon to join our esteemed team. We prioritise treating our candidates as professionals and offer regular, ongoing delivery driving work.
About the role:
- Join our team in South Devon and operate up to 3.5-tonne vehicles for valued clients. Shifts usually begin between 04:00 and 09:00, concluding upon job completion.
- Competitive pay rates range from £12.05 to £14.01 per hour for PAYE Adv. (other PAYE options are available), including weekend opportunities.
- Guaranteed 8-hour shift (8 hours pay).
- Weekly pay ensures a consistent income.
- Unlock the possibility of driving 7.5T commercially with a discounted CPC.
- Part-time and full-time positions with flexible working hours
Requirements:
- Hold a valid and full Category B licence.
- No more than 6 points and no DR, DD, or IN convictions that may affect insurance.
- Physical capability to lift, carry, and move freely in all weather conditions.
- Own transportation for commuting.
- Possess a working mobile phone.
