We’re currently recruiting for a 3.5T Van Tipper Driver to join a well-established builders’ merchant based in Crewe. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a respected local employer offering consistent Monday to Friday work.

The Role

As a Van Tipper Driver, you’ll be responsible for delivering a wide range of building materials to both trade and domestic customers across the local area. Unlike a standard delivery van, the vehicle is fitted with a hydraulic tipping body, allowing you to safely and efficiently unload loose materials such as aggregates, sand, gravel, soil and other bulk building products directly at customer sites.

You’ll be expected to:

• Deliver building materials safely and professionally.
• Operate the hydraulic tipping mechanism correctly and safely.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy.
• Provide excellent customer service when making deliveries.
• Load and unload materials when required.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Occasionally work from the company’s Congleton branch to support business requirements.

What We’re Looking For

To be considered, you must have:

• A full UK driving licence.
• A minimum of 2 years’ commercial driving experience.
• No penalty points and no previous driving bans.
• A positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good geographical knowledge of the local area is advantageous.
