Led by franchise owner Amanda Jeffries, the team from Driver Hire Wisbech proudly flew the flag for Driver Hire at Truckfest Peterborough over the recent Bank Holiday weekend. Driver Hire’s presence at Truckfest did much to raise the profile of the Wisbech office, and also of course, that of Driver Hire as a nationwide brand.
It was a case of all hands to the pumps for a very busy show, with a great deal of interest from drivers, owners and other interested parties throughout the course of the whole weekend.
“We were delighted to tell visitors to our stand about the wide range of recruitment and training services we have to offer,” said Amanda. “We will have plenty of work to do following up the new contacts in the next few days.”
“We were also lucky enough to have a visit from Ashley Maddocks and Dave Pickerill, star drivers from ‘Eddie Stobart: Trucks and Trailers’ on Channel 5, as well as Mike Thomas-Clark – ‘Big Mike’ from the ‘World’s Toughest Truckers’ show. They were kind enough to pose for some pictures with our team and we’d like to say a big ‘thank you’ to them for taking the time out of their hectic schedule.”
