Driver Hire took Silver in this year’s bfa HSBC British Franchise Association annual awards. Regarded as the ‘Oscars’ of the franchise industry, they celebrate the best in franchising.
“The awards are an opportunity to recognise the dedication, innovation and devotion of both franchisors and franchisees,” says Graham Duckworth, Driver Hire’s Franchise Sales Director. “We have a great record at these awards. Collecting Silver, after winning Gold as the UK’s best franchise only three years ago, is a fantastic achievement and confirms that our high ethical standards and proven business model continues to deliver for our franchisees.”
Successful franchisors had to show strong franchise credentials. These include a robust infrastructure and excellent network support, enabling franchisees to reach their full potential. They also had to show how their systems quickly embed franchisees into their network and then – throughout the franchise lifecycle — provide outstanding back-up, allowing franchisees to grow their business and realise a good return on their investment when they decide to sell.
“It’s all about standing out from the crowd,” Graham Duckworth continues. “A Driver Hire franchise certainly does that with average franchise turnover in 2021/22 reaching £1.2m. Winning Silver is a great result, one that the whole of the Driver Hire business can be proud of.”
Graham and his Driver Hire colleagues collected their award at the bfa’s annual awards night in Birmingham. Overall winners of the Franchisor of the Year category were ‘Revive! Auto Innovations’.
