Driver Hire headed north for its Conference this year with just short of 130 delegates converging on Glasgow’s Grand Central Hotel.
On the agenda were two outstanding guest speakers; Geoff Ramm (pictured, right) and BJ Cunningham (pictured, below).
The latter a serial and highly successful entrepreneur; the former, Geoff Ramm, an international speaker and author who has worked with some high-profile corporate names including Tesco, McDonald’s and Specsavers.
Both delivered pertinent and practical business messages in entertaining presentations which were thoroughly enjoyed by their audience.
Chris Chidley, Driver Hire’s Chief Executive, brought franchisees up to date with the Driver Hire year to date and gave his audience an indication of a cautious, but positive, business outlook for 2020/21.
The day also provided an opportunity to recognise the outstanding business achievements of 20 Driver Hire franchisees. They included Driver Hire Gatwick – Driver Hire’s 2020 ‘Franchisee of the Year’.
The day, or more correctly, the evening, was completed with a Gala Dinner attended by 220 Driver Hire franchisees, Driver Hire Group Services staff and their guests. During the evening around £10,000 was raised for Driver Hire’s Benevolent Fund.
