Just a week to go to the British Franchise Association (bfa) 2023 Annual Conference and Gala Awards at the Vox Conference Centre in Birmingham.
Excitement is, understandably, heightening at Driver Hire – with very good reason being up for two awards. Once again for franchise industry’s top accolade, ‘Franchisor of the Year’. A past winner on two occasions, most recently in 2019, Driver Hire has been a nominated finalist in 15 of the last 18 years.
In addition, Connor Ferguson, franchisee at Driver Hire Plymouth & Cornwall, is in line for the bfa’s ‘Next Generation’ award. This category is for highly successful franchisees under the age of 30 – both criteria that fit Connor perfectly.
Driver Hire’s on-stage involvement isn’t limited to awards – it’s also providing two guest speakers. In the Conference’s ‘Inspiration Zone’, CEO, Chris Chidley, will be one of a panel of franchisors using their long-term experience and knowledge of franchising in a Q&A session. Earlier in the day, Graham Duckworth, Driver Hire’s Franchise Sales Director, is one of five franchisors leading a breakout session on making franchise renewals a transparent process that in turn leads to further network growth.
