Driver Hire is now covering Great Yarmouth. Behind the move is Chantelle May, the manager of Driver Hire Norwich. Chantelle has been an important part of the network for nearly 20 years, initially as a recruitment consultant and now manages the business for its owner, Gary Stuttard.
Working alongside Chantelle to drive the new venture forward is Business Development Consultant, Nicola Richardson. Nicola is the perfect person for the job — with 30 years’ experience in road transport. “I hold an HGV licence and worked as a lorry driver. I also hold a transport manager’s CPC and have run my own haulage business ” says Nicola. “My experience means that I can relate to both the needs of our clients and our drivers.”
Driver Hire Norwich’s four-person team is enjoying another successful year – trading is currently 9% up on 2022-23. “It’s all about delivering great customer service. My team are passionate about what they do. We’re looking to transfer the success we’ve had in Norwich to Great Yarmouth,” says Chantelle.
“We’ve already got clients and recruit drivers in the Great Yarmouth area,” Nicola adds. “Now that we’re focusing on the area there’s someone local looking after their recruitment needs, delivering added quality and that all important personal touch. And, of course, we’re really looking forward to meeting the staffing needs of other local businesses and organisations right across our Great Yarmouth and Norwich territory.”
