The quality and level of franchisee support Driver Hire prides itself on is evidenced by the success of its franchise network. However, further confirmation of this came at the recent British Franchise Association (BFA) annual conference held at the NEC in Birmingham.
Simon Johnston, Driver Hire’s Network Development Director, was delighted to collect the 2021 BFA ‘Continuous Improvement Award’.
“The award is based on the results of an annual survey sent out to franchisees of over 100 franchise businesses, including Driver Hire,” Simon explains. “Franchisees comment and give their opinion on 25 survey questions covering all aspects of their relationship with their franchisor, from the level of support they receive from their franchisor to whether they’d recommend buying the franchise to others.”

Most telling perhaps, one question asks whether, if they had their time again, they’d still buy a Driver Hire franchise. The survey results suggest that the answer from Driver Hire franchisees was a resounding ‘yes’. Overall, Driver Hire’s survey results showed a three-year rising graph of satisfaction.
Commenting on the results, Sharon Weston, Head of Franchising at Workbuzz, the survey compilers, said: “What makes this award so special is that it’s entirely based on confidential feedback from franchisees. Driver Hire’s continuing improvement over three successive surveys demonstrates great leadership and resilience, especially through the pandemic.”
Driver Hire’s Simon Johnston added: “It’s wonderful to have such positive feedback from our franchisees, especially in a year where there has been so much change. Of course, we can’t rest on our laurels, so we’ve more initiatives planned for the year ahead to help our franchisees stay on the top of their game in an ever changing and challenging market.”
