Driver Hire is one of six finalists in the 2018 bfa HSBC ‘Franchisor of the Year’ awards.
The national awards highlight the UK’s most exceptional franchisors; the ones that are driving business success through best practice, innovative strategies and a strong brand. With a 32% increase in entries when compared to 2017, it’s been a tough task for the judges to narrow down to this year’s finalists according to the bfa’s Chief Executive Officer, Pip Wilkins.
Commenting on the nomination, an elated Jeremy Neale, Driver Hire’s Managing Director for the UK said:
“This award recognises consistency and excellence in franchising and therefore speaks volumes about the quality and value of our business model within the franchise industry. It also illustrates that as a network, we are consistently working together to succeed in providing a quality service, recognised externally, to our customers and candidates. We’ve won an award in this category four times now and made it to the finals in twelve out of the last thirteen years. Winning this award in 2018 would be a tremendous feat.”

Driver Hire and the five other ‘Franchisor of the Year finalists’: Agency Express, Autosmart, Costa Coffee, McDonald’s Restaurants Ltd and TaxAssist Accountants will present their case to the awards judges in March. The winners will be announced at the bfa HSBC ‘Franchise of the Year’ awards on the 28th June which is being held at the Birmingham International Conference Centre.
