7.5 Tonne Driver (C1) – Weekend Work – Aylesham

Pay: £14-15.69 per hour, minimum of 8 hours per day

Working Days: Saturday and Sunday

Driver Hire Canterbury is currently recruiting a reliable and experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver (C1) for regular Saturday and Sunday work based in Aylesham.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional delivery driver looking for consistent weekend work with early morning starts.

You will be working with a specialist medical equipment provider, delivering and collecting new and used medical equipment to and from various locations across the South East. 

The role involves transporting medical equipment securely on cages, completing approximately 3–4 trips per day. This is a time-critical delivery and collection operation, so punctuality, reliability and good time management are essential.

The Role – 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver

• Driving a 7.5 tonne (C1) vehicle.
• Delivering and collecting new and used medical equipment.
• Loading and transporting equipment on cages.
• Completing approximately 3–4 delivery and collection trips per day.
• Working to strict delivery and collection schedules.
• Ensuring medical equipment is transported safely and securely.
• Completing vehicle checks and relevant delivery paperwork.
• Providing a professional and reliable service at all times.

Requirements – What You’ll Need

• Full Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
  
• 6 months previous delivery or collection driving experience preferred.
• Good geographical knowledge and time management skills.
• Reliable, punctual and comfortable with 04:00 starts.
• A professional and customer-focused attitude.
