Driver Hire Derby is currently recruiting on behalf of an established business in Wirksworth looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver to join their team. This will be a temp -perm opportunity so perfect for someone looking for long term career opportunities. Immediate interviews available.
What’s in it for you?
- £16.20 PAYE Per hour – whilst on temp, you do have the option to be paid with your holiday included in your hourly rate, this will up your hourly pay to £18.15 P/HR
- Monday to Friday or Monday to Thursday shift pattern
- 40 hrs per week – overtime available
- 06:00am Starts
- Temp – Perm opportunity
What will you be doing?
- Driving an automatic electric HGV vehicle
- Manual split shift experience is needed for a period of cover whilst the main vehicle is in service
- Delivering goods to clients in a timely manner
- One night out per week – £25 night out allowance
- Long distance routes, typically to Liverpool or Bristol
You’ll need:
- Valid Category C+E / Class 1 License
- Valid CPC & Tacho
- Manual Split Shift Vehicle experience
- Clean license is ideal
- 2 years of Category C+E / Class 1 driving experience is preferred
