Driver Hire Newark & Grantham are recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers for a fantastic opportunity with one of our valued clients.
The role involves delivering palletised goods to customers across the UK, offering consistent weekday work and the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.

The Role
- Class 1 (C+E) driving, delivering palletised goods nationwide.
- Monday to Friday working pattern.
- 7:00am starts.
- Regular, ongoing work.
- Customer-facing deliveries, so a professional attitude is essential.
- Temp-to-perm opportunity, with the potential to join the client permanently.
- All breaks are unpaid.
Pay Rates
- £18.75 per hour assignment rate.
- £28.12 per hour overtime rate after 8 hours worked daily.
What We’re Looking For
To be considered, you must have:
- A valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
- An in-date Driver CPC.
- An in-date Digital Tachograph Card.
- The right to work in the UK.
- Previous Class 1 driving experience.
- A reliable, professional approach and good customer service skills.
