We are recruiting on behalf of a busy and well-established transport operation in Exeter for a Customer Service Advisor to support their logistics team during the winter period.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You’ll play a key role in ensuring customers receive excellent service while supporting the smooth running of daily transport operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Handling inbound customer calls and enquiries professionally.
• Providing updates and information regarding deliveries and logistics operations.
• Supporting the coordination of day-to-day transport activities.
• Processing and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Liaising with drivers, customers, and internal departments to resolve queries.
• Escalating issues when required and helping to find effective solutions.
• Delivering excellent customer service at every stage of the customer journey.

What We’re Looking For

✅ Previous customer service or call handling experience.

✅ Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

✅ Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately.

✅ Confidence working in a busy office environment.

✅ Good IT skills and experience using computer systems.

✅ Ability to remain calm, organised, and professional under pressure.

✅ Logistics or warehousing experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.
