Driver Hire are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse & Reach Forklift Operative for an ongoing position based in the Warminster area.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for stable, Monday-to-Friday work, with the potential to develop into a longer-term or permanent position.
The Role
Your duties will include:
Operating a Reach Forklift Truck
Loading and unloading stock safely
Moving and organising goods within the warehouse
Picking and preparing orders
General warehouse duties
Manual handling where required
Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment
Hours & Pay
Monday to Friday
Daytime working hours
£14.00 per hour basic rate
Overtime/weekend rates available where applicable
Weekly PAYE pay
Ongoing work with temp-to-perm potential
Available to start immediately
Requirements
To be considered for this role you will need:
A valid Reach Forklift licence/certification
Previous Reach Forklift experience
A good understanding of warehouse and health & safety procedures
Good reliability and timekeeping
A positive and flexible approach to work
Ability to carry out manual handling duties when required
The successful candidate will be trained to operate a Counterbalance Forklift as part of the role, giving you the opportunity to develop additional skills and certification.
