Class 1 Driver 

📍 Location: Mallusk
🚛 Position: Class 1 Driver (C+E)
📅 Contract: Temporary (Guaranteed 3-4 Months) with Possible Extension
🕙 Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am – 8:00pm

💷 Pay Rate: £16.02 per hour
⏰ Overtime Rate: £24.03 per hour (Time and a Half after 42.5 hours worked)⏰

Overtime: Saturday work may be available from time to time for drivers who would like additional overtime opportunities.

About the Role

Driver Hire Belfast is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers for a temporary assignment with a leading logistics provider based in Mallusk.

You will be responsible for delivering goods to retail stores, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time. The role also involves using handheld scanners to manage deliveries and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering goods to stores across designated routes.
• Using handheld scanners to record deliveries and collections.
• Completing all relevant paperwork and delivery documentation.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• Adhering to all road transport and health & safety regulations.
• Providing a professional and courteous service at delivery locations.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Minimum 2 years’ Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and working time regulations.
• Experience using scanners is advantageous but not essential.
• Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach to work.
