Class 2 Road Sweeper based in Barnstaple. Monday to Friday, 6am – 2pm
Job Description
Class 2 driver to drive a road sweeper vehicle, this is a hands on position. You’ll be driving the vehicle on the opposite side of the road. Following a set route, most of day will eb sat in vehicle, occasional hands on sweeping may be required. Road sweeper experience is essential.

£16.61 per hour, PAYE Advance Other PAYE models are available.
Key Responsibilities

Driving a Class 2 Cat C road sweeper

Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects

Completing route paperwork

Following all health and safety procedures, site rules and driver hours regulations

Working closely with the wider team to ensure it’s all completed
Qualifications
Essential:
- Valid Category C Class 2 HGV licence
- Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 penalty points
- Ability to travel to the Barnstaple depot for early morning starts
- Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling duties
- Mobile phone for communication with the team
- Road Sweeper experience
