Class 1 Day Driver

About the Role

We are currently recruiting a Class 1 Driver to join a transport team based in Mallusk.

This is a local driving role with Monday to Friday work, offering consistent hours and excellent earning potential.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday
• Day shift
• Weekend overtime available

Pay & Benefits

• £15.00 per hour
• £18.00 per hour overtime rate after 50 hours worked

Duties

• Operate Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Complete local collections and deliveries
• Ensure loads are secured correctly
• Maintain accurate paperwork and delivery records
• Communicate effectively with the Operations Team
• Keep vehicles clean and presentable at all times

Experience & Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 1 year’s driving experience preferred
• Good knowledge of local transport routes
• Reliable and punctual
• Professional attitude with high standards of vehicle care
