3.5T Delivery Driver

Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour including holiday pay
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am start

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking 3.5T Delivery Driver to join our client’s busy plumbing supplies operation based in Gloucester.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining van driving, deliveries and warehouse duties. You’ll be responsible for delivering products to customers while also assisting with picking orders and loading vehicles.

The Role

• Driving a van up to 3.5 tonnes
• Making local deliveries to customers
• Loading and unloading the vehicle safely
• Picking and preparing orders in the warehouse
• Assisting with vehicle loading and ensuring goods are secured correctly
• Using an electronic device to manage deliveries and capture delivery information
• Carrying out manual handling of plumbing supplies and other materials
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
• Following all relevant health and safety procedures
• Working as part of a busy warehouse and delivery team

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a full UK driving licence with entitlement to drive vehicles up to 3.5T
• Previous delivery or van driving experience is preferred
• Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
• Confident using electronic devices
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Happy to get involved with warehouse duties when required
