Are you an experienced 7.5T driver looking for a full-time driving opportunity with the potential to become permanent?
We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our clients based in the Southampton area. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and experienced driver to join a friendly team, delivering fixtures and fittings across the South Coast.
What you need to know about this 7.5T driving role:
- Monday to Friday (07:00am start)
- 8–10-hour shifts
- 12-week temp-to-perm position
- Approximately 10–15 deliveries per day
- Driving both 7.5T and 3.5T vehicles, depending on delivery requirements
- Loading and unloading the vehicle
- Delivering fixtures and fittings to customers
- Completing delivery notes
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
What we require from you:
- A full and clean UK 7.5T driving licence
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Previous delivery driving experience
- Good geographical knowledge of the South Coast and surrounding areas
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Previous experience using ratchet straps and tail lifts
- Reliable and punctual with fantastic timekeeping
- A professional attitude and positive approach to work
- Ability to represent the client professionally and follow all company policies and procedures
