Class 1 Driver – Permanent Position (Tramping/Flexible Workload)
📍 Based in Reading | 💼 Permanent | 💷 £50,000 – £52,000
Are you an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for a stable, full-time role with variety, great earning potential, and progression opportunities?
We’re working with a respected haulage operator who is now hiring two full-time drivers for flexible routes/projects. You’ll be part of a professional team delivering across various locations, with occasional tramping (at least 1 week per month).
What’s on Offer:
- Salary: £50,000 – £52,000 per annum
- Modern, well-maintained vehicles
- No weekend work unless agreed in advance
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Working across various contracts – no fixed route
- Driving across the South of England
- Expected tramping 1 week per month (minimum)
- Container work
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 Licence (12+ months experience) + CPC & Digi Tacho
- Flexibility with working patterns and occasional nights out
- Reliable, professional, and safety-focused
