Driver Hire Bridgwater & Taunton is recruiting an experienced Class 2 Driver for an established distribution business based near Ilminster.
This is a Monday-to-Friday position delivering chilled and ambient products to customers across the region.
The Role
Driving a Class 2 temperature-controlled vehicle
Delivering chilled and ambient products
Completing approximately 5–7 drops per day
Carrying out daily vehicle checks
Ensuring products are delivered safely and on time
Completing delivery paperwork accurately
Providing a professional service to customers
Following all company and health and safety procedures
Requirements
Valid Category C/Class 2 licence
Minimum of eight months’ Class 2 driving experience
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Comfortable completing multi-drop deliveries
Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and Working Time regulations
Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach
Able to start work from 06:30
