Driver Hire Yeovil & Shepton Mallet is recruiting an experienced Class 2 Mixer Driver for an established client based in Glastonbury.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious driver looking for consistent Monday-to-Friday work, competitive rates of pay and ongoing support from a local recruitment team.
The Role
Driving a Class 2 concrete mixer vehicle
Delivering ready-mixed concrete to customer sites across the region
Operating the mixer equipment safely and correctly
Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment checks
Completing all required delivery paperwork
Keeping the vehicle and mixer equipment clean and presentable
Following all site, health and safety procedures
Representing the client professionally at all times
Requirements
Valid Category C/Class 2 driving licence
Valid MPQC card is essential
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous mixer-driving experience preferred
Good understanding of drivers’ hours and Working Time regulations
Confident working on construction and customer sites
Professional, reliable and safety-conscious approach
What We Offer
