Van Driver – Tool Hire / Plant Hire Experience Required
Location: East London
Pay: £14.24 per hour (PAYE)
Job Type: Temporary with the potential to become permanent | Flexible working available
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Van Driver to join a busy and growing operation in East London.
This role is ideal for someone with previous tool hire or plant hire experience, who understands the importance of excellent customer service, safe vehicle operation, and efficient deliveries.
Key Responsibilities-Deliver and collect tools and plant equipment to and from customer sites.
Load and unload equipment safely and securely.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain a clean, roadworthy van.
Provide excellent customer service while representing the company.
Complete delivery paperwork and ensure accurate records are maintained.
Work closely with the depot team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Requirements-
Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points preferred).
Previous experience within the tool hire or plant hire industry is essential.
Good knowledge of East London and the surrounding areas.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
A positive, reliable, and flexible approach to work.
