Pay: £17.75 per hour (Agency) | Overtime Paid Daily
Start Times: Between 4:00am and 10:00am
We are currently recruiting for experienced Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers on behalf of our well-established client based in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position with a leading linen distribution company, delivering and collecting linen from commercial customers across the Midlands.
The Role
- Multi-drop deliveries and collections of commercial linen
- Delivering excellent customer service at customer premises
- Loading and unloading your vehicle (some heavy lifting is involved)
- Completing all relevant paperwork and vehicle checks
- Working in line with tachograph rules and drivers’ hours regulations
Requirements
To be considered, you must:
- Hold a valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence
- Have held your Class 2 licence and been driving professionally for at least 12 months
- Hold a valid Driver CPC qualification
- Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Have a good understanding of drivers’ hours and tachograph legislation
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Be willing to undergo regular drug and alcohol testing in line with company policy
Working Hours
- Various start times available between 4:00am and 10:00am
- Weekend work is required
- The operation runs 7 days a week
- Once taken on permanently, you will work on a rota basis
