Looking for regular Class 2 driving work with consistent shift patterns? Driver Hire Portsmouth is recruiting a reliable HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driver for immediate agency work with a leading temperature-controlled logistics specialist.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established logistics operation delivering chilled and frozen products to customers across the South. The driver would be working a 6 & 5 shift pattern – Week 1 (Monday to Saturday) and Week 2 (Monday to Friday), offering regular work with the potential for ongoing assignments.

Requirements:

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tacho Card.
• Must have held licence for min. 3 years.
• Experience working within temperature-controlled or food distribution is advantageous.
• A professional, reliable approach with excellent customer service skills.
• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and Working Time Directive regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver chilled and frozen goods safely and efficiently to customer locations.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks and ensure compliance with all driving regulations.
• Maintain the integrity of temperature-controlled loads throughout your shift.
• Accurately complete delivery paperwork and use handheld devices where required.
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers at each delivery point.
