Driver’s Mate
Pay rate: £13.50 per hour

Start Date: ASAP
We are looking for Driver’s Mate to start ASAP for our growing client base across the IP postcode, with all the support from our experienced Driver Hire team in Ipswich.
The successful Driver’s Mate will receive:
£13.50 per hour
Guaranteed 10 hours per day
28 days holiday prorated on PAYE
Upskilling to HGV, ADR and HIAB after satisfactory probation period

What to expect as a Driver’s Mate:
Working Monday to Friday on 6am starts. You will be riding with an HGV driver assisting with navigation and the installation of specialist equipment to commercial premises.Shifts will be at least 10hrs long.You must be physically fit due to the nature of the products being transferred and installed on site.
As a Driver’s Mate you must have:
Be reliable
Be physically fit
Experience in installations preferred but not essential
No more than 6 effective penalty points
No DG, DD or IN endorsements
