HGV 7.5T Driver | Permanent Opportunity | Poole| Up to £18.49 per Hour

Driver Hire Bournemouth & Salisbury is recruiting an experienced HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver for a temp-perm position with one of our valued clients in Poole. The position will also involve a small amount of warehouse work.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable driver looking for regular Monday to Friday work, weekly pay, and the potential for ongoing employment.

Job Details

Position: HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver + warehouse work
Location: Poole
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 0800 – 1700

Pay Rates (PAYE Advanced Holiday Pay)

• £14.57 per hour – Basic Rate
• £16.81 per hour – Nights & Saturdays
• £18.49 per hour – Sundays & Bank Holidays

The Role

Your duties will include:

• Driving a 7.5T vehicle safely and professionally
• Occasional warehouse work after deliveries are complete
• Completing daily vehicle safety checks
• Keeping accurate delivery and service records
• Following all road transport legislation and company procedures
• Communicating effectively with customers and the transport team

What We’re Looking For

To be considered, you must have:

• A valid UK HGV 7.5T (Category C1) licence
• A valid Driver CPC qualification
• A digital tachograph card
• At least 6 months of recent commercial driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN endorsements)
• Your own transport to travel to and from the depot
