Driver Hire Bournemouth & Salisbury is currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a permanent opportunity with our well-established client in Amesbury.

Hourly Pay Rates

• £16.81 per hour (weekly pay, PAYE including holiday pay)

The Role

You will be responsible for operating an HGV Class 2 vehicle, delivering goods safely and efficiently across various locations.

Duties include:

• Safe operation of HGV vehicles
• Manual handling for loading, unloading and delivering
• Completing pre-use and post-use vehicle checks
• Ensuring compliance with road traffic legislation and company procedures
• Maintaining delivery paperwork and vehicle records
• Providing a professional service to customers and clients
• Communicating effectively with transport teams and site contacts

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A valid UK HGV Class 2 licence
• Valid CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 6 months’ recent commercial HGV driving experience
• Own transport to travel to and from work
• No more than 3 penalty points (No DR, DD or IN endorsements)
