Driver Hire Bournemouth & Salisbury is recruiting an experienced Class 1 Shunter Driver for an immediate start with one of our established clients in Shaftesbury.

Your Role

You’ll be responsible for safely moving Class 1 trailers and vehicles around a busy depot, ensuring trailers are in the right place for loading and unloading while keeping the yard operating efficiently.

Duties include:

• Shunting trailers around the depot and yard
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Working closely with the transport and warehouse teams
• Following site procedures and health & safety standards
• Maintaining a safe and organised working environment

What You’ll Need

• Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• Driver CPC qualification
• Digital tachograph card
• Previous Class 1 or shunting experience preferred
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN endorsements)
• Reliable transport to travel to the depot
