Office Administrator / Route Planning Assistant

🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday (Full-Time)
🚀 Start Date: Week commencing 6th July
Driver Hire Crewe is recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients for a Temporary Office Administrator / Route Planning Assistant to provide cover for approximately 3 months.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied office role and has good organisational skills. No previous transport planning experience is required, as full training will be provided.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Inputting customer information accurately into internal systems
- Assisting with manual route planning and scheduling
- Updating databases and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting the transport office with general administrative duties
- Using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams on a daily basis
- After training, helping to coordinate vehicle servicing and maintenance with external fleet providers
What We’re Looking For
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams
- Good data entry skills with excellent attention to detail
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
- Confident communicating with colleagues and external suppliers
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Previous transport planning experience is not essential.
