Driver Hire Bridgwater & Taunton is currently recruiting an experienced 7.5t Driver for a varied delivery and collection role based in the Bridgwater area.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a practical, hands-on driving role with variety throughout the day. The role will involve completing site deliveries and collections of equipment, usually covering 1–3 stops per day, using a 7.5t vehicle as well as a flatbed van when smaller deliveries or collections are required.
You will be supporting site operations by delivering and collecting equipment, helping with loading and unloading, and making sure each job is completed safely and professionally.
The Role
As a 7.5t Driver, your duties will include:
Driving a 7.5t vehicle for site deliveries and equipment collections
Completing around 1–3 stops per day, depending on the route
Using a flatbed van when required for smaller deliveries or collections
Helping with loading and unloading equipment
Completing daily vehicle checks
Ensuring equipment is delivered and collected safely
Working closely with site teams and customers
Representing Driver Hire and our client in a professional manner
This role would suit someone who likes variety and is happy to get involved beyond just driving. You will be part of the wider delivery operation, supporting with practical tasks and helping keep the day running smoothly.
What We Offer

Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
A valid Category C1 / 7.5t licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Minimum 1 year’s commercial driving experience
A professional and reliable approach
Good customer service skills
Willingness to help with loading and unloading
Flexibility to use both 7.5t vehicles and flatbed vans when required
