Driver Hire Bridgwater & Taunton is looking for an experienced and motivated B2B Telesales Executive to join our growing team in Bridgwater.
This is a telephone and email-based role focused on contacting local businesses, identifying potential recruitment requirements and booking qualified appointments for the Directors and Business Development team.
The successful candidate will spend the majority of the working day speaking with prospective and existing clients, developing leads and creating new business opportunities.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Making outbound calls to prospective and existing clients.
Contacting businesses by email and following up previous conversations.
Identifying whether businesses use temporary or permanent staff.
Finding the correct decision-maker responsible for recruitment or staffing.
Asking relevant questions to understand current and future requirements.
Qualifying potential opportunities before booking appointments.
Scheduling appointments for the Directors and Business Development team.
Re-engaging dormant clients and previous customers.
Following up enquiries, quotations and potential opportunities.
Maintaining accurate records of calls, emails and outcomes.
Working towards daily and weekly call, conversation and appointment targets.
Building and maintaining a consistent pipeline of qualified sales opportunities.
You will not be expected to attend external sales meetings. Your primary responsibility will be to generate interest, qualify opportunities and secure appointments for senior members of the team.

What We Are Looking For
Applicants must have:
A minimum of two years’ experience in B2B sales, telesales, lead generation or business development.
A proven track record of achieving sales, appointment or performance targets.
Experience making outbound calls to prospective business clients.
Confidence speaking with business owners, managers and decision-makers.
The ability to identify opportunities and qualify potential clients.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
The resilience to remain positive and professional when dealing with rejection.
The motivation to work towards targets and maximise uncapped bonus earnings.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage follow-up calls and appointments.
Confidence using computers, email and customer relationship management systems.
A reliable and professional approach to work.
Previous experience within recruitment or staffing would be beneficial but is not essential, as full industry training will be provided.
