Driver Hire Bridgwater & Taunton are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 HGV C+E Day Drivers to support one of our valued clients in the Bridgwater area.

This is a great opportunity for professional drivers looking for day work, with options for ongoing shifts and potential temp-to-perm opportunities for the right candidates.

The Role

You will be completing Class 1 day driving work, including:

Trunk runs between depots and distribution sites

Trailer swaps

CDC work

Store deliveries

Completing daily vehicle checks

Ensuring all paperwork and delivery documentation is completed correctly

Working safely and professionally at all times

Shifts operate Monday to Sunday, and applicants must be flexible and available to work across all 7 days.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

Full UK Class 1 / HGV C+E licence

Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience

Valid CPC qualification

Valid Digital Tachograph card

Good understanding of drivers’ hours and working time regulations

Flexibility to work across Monday to Sunday

Professional and reliable approach to work
