Driver Hire Bridgwater & Taunton are currently recruiting for a Class 2 HGV Driver to support one of our clients based in Taunton.
This role involves delivering to commercial sites, with between 1–4 drops per day depending on location. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Class 2 driver looking for regular weekday work, with options for ongoing assignments and temp-to-perm opportunities if successful.
The Role
As a Class 2 HGV Driver, your duties will include:
Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and professionally
Delivering goods to commercial sites
Completing 1–4 drops per day depending on delivery location
Ensuring paperwork and delivery notes are completed accurately
Carrying out daily vehicle checks
Representing both Driver Hire and the client in a professional manner

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
A valid Class 2 / Category C licence
Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience
Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations
A professional and reliable approach
Previous experience delivering to commercial sites is beneficial
