Driver Hire Nottingham are recruiting on behalf of a well-established plumbing and heating supplier in Nottingham for a Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join their team on a permanent basis.

Pay & Benefits
Agency Period
- Assignment rates start from £17.75 per hour
- Overtime paid daily after 8.5 hours at £25.00 per hour

The Role
As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering plumbing and heating supplies to trade and commercial customers throughout Nottingham and the surrounding areas.
This is a customer-facing, relationship-driven position. You will become a familiar face to regular customers and play a key role in maintaining the company’s excellent reputation for service and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle safely and professionally
- Carrying out daily vehicle walk-round and safety checks
- Delivering plumbing and heating products to customers across the local area
- Loading and unloading goods where required
- Ensuring all delivery paperwork is completed accurately
- Providing outstanding customer service at every delivery
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers
- Adhering to all transport legislation, company policies and health & safety procedures
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A valid Category C (Class 2) Licence
- A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- The right to work in the UK
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A professional and reliable attitude
- The ability to build strong working relationships with customers
Previous experience delivering building, plumbing or merchant supplies would be beneficial, but it is not essential. We are keen to speak with drivers who take pride in their work and enjoy providing excellent customer service.
