Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver (Skips)
Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: £15.05 – 18.50 per hour
Location: Portsmouth and surrounding areas
Start Date: Immediate
We are currently recruiting reliable and professional Class 2 Skip Drivers for temporary agency assignments in Portsmouth and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers with skip experience who are looking for flexible work and competitive rates of pay.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
- Valid CPC qualification card and Digital Tachograph Card.
- No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence.
- Previous skip driving experience is essential.
- Good knowledge of vehicle safety checks and operating skip equipment.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different assignments and schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Class 2 skip vehicles for the delivery and collection of skips.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with transport regulations.
- Position skips safely and accurately at customer locations.
- Maintain high standards of customer service when dealing with clients.
- Complete all relevant paperwork and reporting accurately.
- Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
- Demonstrate flexibility and professionalism across temporary assignments.
