HGV Class 2 Driver to train as a Poling Specialist

Pay: £700 – £1,200 per week

About the Role

As a HGV Class 2 Driver / Trainee Poling specialist, you will join a field-based team carrying out telegraph pole renewal and telecommunications infrastructure works across the region.

This is a hands-on outdoor role that offers full training and excellent opportunities for career progression within a growing industry.

Initially, your duties will include:

• Driving company HGV Class 2 vehicles to and between work sites
• Assisting experienced operatives with telegraph pole renewal works
• Supporting the field team with site preparation and general labouring duties
• Ensuring work is carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures

As your training develops, you will gain the skills and experience required to undertake the full range of poling and telecoms infrastructure activities.

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence – essential
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work outdoors.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Commitment to health and safety standards
• Reliable and hardworking approach
