Driver Hire Edinburgh City is currently recruiting a professional and dependable HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Driver to join a well-established flour distribution business based in East Lothian.

🕒 Working Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Early morning start times
- Minimum 40 hours guaranteed per week

🚛 The Role
- Operating a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle delivering flour and related products to commercial customers throughout Scotland
- Completing scheduled deliveries safely, efficiently, and on time
- Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and reporting any defects
- Ensuring compliance with all transport legislation, driver hours regulations, and company procedures
- Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach at all delivery locations
- Accurately completing delivery paperwork and records
💰 Pay Rates
PAYE
- £15.50 per hour
- £20.66 per hour overtime after standard hours
PAYE Advanced
- £17.37 per hour
- £23.15 per hour overtime after standard hours

✅ Requirements
- Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Driver CPC qualification

- Strong customer service and communication skills
