Driver Hire Teesside are currently recruiting for a Class 2 ADR Driver for a temp-to-perm opportunity based in Stockton-on-Tees.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional and reliable driver looking for long-term work with a well-established business operating within a specialist and regulated environment.

The role will involve UK-wide deliveries and collections, including chemical deliveries to customer sites. Occasional nights out and weekend work may be required depending on operational needs.

The Role

• Duties will include:
• Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and professionally
• UK-wide deliveries and collections
• Delivering chemicals to customer sites
• Collecting empty IBCs and kegs
• Ensuring loads are secured correctly and checked against transport documents
• Managing transport paperwork, including MSDS and delivery documentation
• Completing pump-overs from IBCs to customer tanks
• Liaising with customers and site contacts
• Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment checks
• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and equipment standards
• Working safely in line with method statements, risk assessments and site rules

The ideal candidate will be

• Able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Safety-conscious and detail-focused

Requirements

Essential:

• Valid Class 2 / Category C licence
• Valid ADR
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations

Desirable:

• Dangerous goods handling experience
• FLT licence
• General IT / app-based reporting experience

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 37.5 hours per week
• Occasional nights out may be required
• Occasional weekend work may be required
