Driver Hire Newark & Grantham are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Concrete Mixer Driver to work with one of our valued clients in the local area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver with experience in concrete operations, looking for consistent weekday work and competitive hourly pay.
Job Role
You will be responsible for operating concrete mixer or volumetric machinery, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of concrete to various sites.
Key duties include:
- Managing on-site concrete pours
- Operating mixer or volumetric vehicles safely and efficiently
- Maintaining strict vehicle and site safety compliance
- Delivering excellent customer service on-site
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and professionally
Information for you
- Monday to Friday
- Start times from 06:30am
- Assignment rates starting from £17.75 per hour with overtime paid daily.
Requirements
- Valid Category C (Class 2) Licence
- Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience
- Valid CPC card
- Valid digital tachograph card
- Strong understanding of vehicle safety and compliance
- Good customer service skills
