Driver Hire is recruiting for professional and experienced Class 2 HGV Cat C Curtainsider Drivers for an exciting temp-to-perm opportunity.

The Role
Driving Class 2 HGV Cat C curtainsider vehicles
Delivering goods to rural sites across the region
Start times between 5:30am and 6:30am
Ensuring all vehicle checks are completed
Securing loads safely and correctly
Following all transport procedures and road safety regulations
Working a 4-day week min
Weekend work available and required when needed
Paid for the full day regardless of hours worked
What We Offer
4-day week
£168 gross per day for a 4-day week
Paid breaks
5th and 6th day paid at £240 gross per day
Sunday and Bank Holidays paid at £336 gross per day
Weekly pay via PAYE
Paid for the full day regardless of hours worked
Options for ongoing work
Temp-to-perm opportunities if successful within the role

Requirements
Full UK Class 2 HGV Cat C licence
Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
Minimum 2 years’ HGV driving experience
Must be over 25 due to insurance requirements
No penalty points
Previous curtainsider or relevant delivery experience preferred
Comfortable driving and delivering to rural sites
Confident behind the wheel
Reliable, professional and safety-focused
Willing to work weekends if required
